Weekend in Utah...new baby nephew...monster truck ralley

We went to Utah for the weekend. My sister-in-law Jessica had her baby. It was fun to visit them in the hospital and see her other boys interact with the baby. We hung out with Sammy, Dean and Rockwell. Dean woke up early friday morning and said, "Can you take me to the hospital to see my new baby brother?" They were, and are so excited for their new brother. We took Sammy, Dean and Charley to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving point. Friday night my Dad took us to the Monster Jam Ralley, it was super white trash and an experience to remember!

Jess always looks so good! Even after labor!!

I'm a proud aunt. Neil is number 11

Taylor is such a stud. He loves babies.

I love these pictures of Rockwell.

Our 3-legged dog, Moose.

Thanksgiving point!

Sammy is growing up so much. He loves doing things with his hands. He stayed quite a while with Taylor at the sand and water place. He is such a good kid.

With uncle Taylor. I love how Charley is plugging her nose. She thought it stunk in there.

Digging for dino bones.

On the way home we hit up the local candy store, The Peppermint Place. We often use it for bribing material. The each got to spend a dollar.

Valentines Day and Sushi!

This was our first Valentines Day together! We decided to get a 'group gift' so we bought Ticket to Ride with some extra Target Gift cards. Of course Taylor still put together a sweet and amazing surprise for me. He called me at lunch and asked what I wanted for dinner, I said I didn't care, and he said does waffles sound ok? I was a little perturbed... ha ha. Anyways, I got home and he surprised me with Sushi. Which is my absolute favorite food and I haven't had any forever!! Its not Taylor's favorite, but I think he is learning to appreciate it. We had sushi and sparkling cider. Taylor made a special dessert, brownies in the waffle maker. And he surprised me with a shelf he made. Its to put my quilt on that Jill made for the wedding. Taylor is the best husband in the world. It was the best Valentines day I've ever had!

This is also a picture that we took a couple of weeks ago of the Idaho Falls Temple. This was taken at night, but we changed the aperture on our camera to make it look lighter.

Taylor turns 25!!

Taylor turned 25 on Saturday! I did the "12 days of Birthday" for him and gave him a little treat everyday. He had such a crazy week with school and pretty much studied all day everyday. He rocked his tests and I'm so proud of him. So, to celebrate his week of tests, on Thursday we had a special dinner. Heidi, my brother Matt's girlfriend gave me a recipe for some killer salsa. We had chips, salsa, chimichangas and juarritos. I think its our favorite meal yet!

On Friday we headed up to Rexburg to meet Taylors friends, Adam and Andrea, and Barry and Sam for dinner. We had a blast playing games and having cake and ice cream at Sam and Barry's house.

On Saturday we had German Pancakes for breakfast and opened presents ( I gave Taylor Flinestone gummy vitamins and Modern Family season 1).

Then we went shopping, watched Modern Family (our favorite new tv show!) and went out with Paige, Chase, Vince and Jill to Texas Road House. I think this is where my favorite part of the weekend comes in! Taylor hates being the center of attention. During dinner, he got up to go to the bathroom and I told the waitress that is was his birthday. A bunch of waiters came to sing to him and gave him a big Texas yeeha! We were all laughing so hard, but he was so embarrassed.

We finished the night off with having cake and ice cream at our sweet apartment.

Anyways, I am so grateful for my thoughtful, caring and loving husband. He is my best friend  and I love him and being married to him. Happy Birthday Tay!

Hansen Ave #4

Our apartment is pretty sweet. Its on the west side of Idaho Falls. Its a great location for Taylors school and my internship, and we are close to Taylor's parents. We are also close to Reeds Dairy and Walmart...woot woot! It was fun to unwrap all of our presents and get everything organized. We are still working on it, but we have made tons of progress. I love living with Taylor. We switch off nights making dinner and have had a blast trying out our new appliances. Our favorites so far: Quesadilla Maker, Villa Waffle Iron, Panini Grill, Cocoa Latte and Kitchen Aid. We decided that we could live off of quesadillas, waffles, and panini's... and we pretty much do. Here are some pics of our wedding gifts and us putting together our sweet tv stand.
