Spring, Spring, Spring

We are finally all moved in to Taylor's grandparents home in Shelley. It is so fun to be out of a basement apartment and into a home. We have lots of room and a great yard. We already planted our strawberries this week and they seem to  be doing well. We also started some other plants from seed inside. I am in charge of the annuals and Taylor is doing the vegetables. Hopefully it will turn out better than last year. Taylor is busy with school- its wrapping up this week, and we are praying for him during finals. He is very busy with his lawn mowing business and doing well. He is such a hard worker. The baby and I had quite an adventure this week. We went on our morning walk, and when we returned I discovered I had locked us out. We walked over to the High School and hung out in Vince's classroom until lunch and then Jill came and got me and I went to their house until about 7:30 pm when Taylor got back from Pocatello. I'm so grateful that Taylor's parents are close. I don't know what I would have done all day, I didn't even have any diapers or anything for the baby. Anyways, I was so embarrassed, but it makes for a good story. This week I did Chase and McKenzie's engagement pictures. We were so worried about the weather, but it worked out- and hopefully the pictures turned out too. They are such a cute couple. This weekend Taylor took me on a date. It was so fun to relax and be with him- we went to The Vow, didn't really love it...ha ha it was just too sad for me. We also went vintage shopping at this fun store in Shelley called "Hidden Treasures." I think we just about have our dream home designed and decorated. We both love that kind of stuff and have similar likes and styles. Thanks to Paige for babysitting!

As for the little man. He is getting so big and is the light of our lives. He is slobbering a lot more and loves to kick. He is soooo ticklish- he laughs so hard when you tickle his tummy and his feet.

Farewell Grandma and Grandpa Wray....and we moved!

Taylor's grandparents left this week to serve a mission at the Nauvoo Temple. I am so excited for them and very jealous. They are going to love it! They invited us to stay in their home in Shelley while they are gone. It is for sure going to be 6 months, but possibly could be 18 months. We are just grateful to save the money and I'm not going to lie...I LOVE being out of our basement apartment and into a house. It's been a crazy week moving and getting settled, and we are still working on it. I'm so grateful for all the family and friends who have helped us move.

Alexander's baby blessing

I finally took pictures of Al's blessing outfit. It is so special because Taylor and all of his brothers have worn this very same outfit. My Grandma Alexander made this blanket for me when I was in high school and I have kept it in my cedar chest that my Grandpa Alexander made for me since then. I have long dreamed of the time that I would be able to see my own sweet baby blessed in it. I love being a mom!! Isn't he so sweet?

Last but not least, Alexander has been laughing up a storm lately. He is so ticklish and laughs so hard when he gets tickled. Check out this video.

Easter and baby blessing

Sunday was such a special day for our family. Not only was it Easter, a day to remember the Saviors life and Atonement, but we also blessed Alexander. We choose to do it at Taylor's grandparents home and it was very special and intimate. We received so much love and support from our families and we are so grateful for the special spirit that was there. Taylor gave such a wonderful blessing and I am so proud of him. It was so powerful to see those men stand together and so special to see uncles, great-uncles, grandpa's and great-grandpa's. Alexander wore the same outfit that Taylor was blessed in, almost 26 years to the day later. It fit him perfectly and he looked so cute! It was just such a fun day and we took tons of pictures!! Here is easter morning.
The Easter bunny found us thanks to Taylor! (I totally forgot)
