Alexander: 19 months

I have been a bit behind about journaling Al's monthly growth and what he is up to lately. He is a hoot. He picks up new words everyday and recently he calls me MOMMAS and Taylor DADDAS. And he yells it over and over again, even if i reply back to him. We think he just likes to hear himself say it. Its pretty cute. He still is obsessed with Buzz and Woody. He has his little Buzz guy and makes a flying noise whooooossshhhhhh when he plays with him. He is obssessed his horses and still says, "I ride that." He loves to ride Copper when we visit my parents. He can say 'raff' (giraffe) and 'ephmat' (elephant) He constantly asks if he can watch a 'show' and will bring me the 'mote.' He definitely has been watching too much TV, but that is how we have been surviving. He loves to read his books and he is obsessed with Taylor's scriptures. He loves to carry them around and he got in trouble because he ripped the pages, but now he knows better and just carries around the case. He went to nursery last Sunday by himself and lasted almost the whole time before he realized Taylor was gone and they had to go get him, so hopefully it will just get better every week. He also loves to go outside, we have been going for walks and to the park. He also loves the bathtub and playing with the bubbles. I taught him to put them on his face and say 'ho ho ho' like Santa Clause. He loves to 'codor' (color) and stickers. He will sit for hours with his Mickey Mouse book. He is eating really well and loves Grandma Jills raspberry jam on pretty much anything, he licks it off first. He loves yogurt, milk and beans. He loves to dance and loves the old music that my Mom used to put on for me and my siblings, "See me run." He has the cutest dance moves and does a somersault all by himself. We love our little Al. He gives the best hugs and kisses and makes me so happy.

Wyatt: 3 weeks

Where has the time gone? I can't believe our baby is 3 weeks old already. September is crusin by! Wyatt is doing great- growing a ton. Last week at his 2 week dr. appointment he weighed 7 lbs 13 oz (50%), 21.8" long (90%) and 13" head (30%).  He is a pleasant little guy most of the time, except at night he cries a lot. We think he might have acid reflux, so we are working on that and meeting with the Dr. tomorrow. I love holding him and snuggling him. Al thinks he is pretty great too. He always wants to hold the baby and is so soft with him. Grandma and Grandpa Wray came to visit a few weeks ago. Al was in heaven. They brought him a Woody cup and a "george" blanket. He has to have his George to go to sleep now.
I LOVE this picture of Al and Vince. Al is in heaven and that is a smile of pure joy on his face. He loves his Papa. It was so good to see them. We miss living close to them and seeing them every week.

Jill and Wyatt

Grandma and Grandpa Hammer were in town the same day and stopped by to see us. They brought Wyatt a cute outfit and Al a little bunny. He calls it his 'bunny fufu' cause we sing the song with it.

Here is our sweetie sleeping in the boppy.

We have loved living close to Mike and Darby. Taylor and Mike have the same class schedule so on Monday Darby comes over here for dinner and we get the kids ready for bed and on Tuesday we go over there to do the same thing. Lilly is just so excited about Wyatt she can hardly contain herself. Its very cute and we have to constantly remind her to be soft because she is just so excited. She is definitely a girl and loves babies!

His cheeks are getting chubby!

Being parents of 2 is definitely challenging but we are getting the hang of it and couldn't be more grateful for 2 healthy boys. My heart is full everyday for the blessings I have been given and my amazing husband who is so patient with me.

Wyatt: One week old!

Wyatt is doing great. We love having him in our family and it seems so normal, like he has always been with us. I love having a newborn again and am so grateful to be his momma. On Tuesday at his Dr. appointment he weighed 6 lbs, 15 oz,  (25%)  and up from his birthweight at 6 lbs 8 oz. His height was 21 1/4" (90%), and head is 13.8" (30%). He is growing already and super healthy. He sometimes gets tummy aches, and we are working on that, but overall he is doing great. Here are some pictures of his first week. Some are from the hospital.
These are really dark, but Al wanted to hold the baby and had to make sure he could see "Buzz." It was the cutest thing in the world.

First outfit and coming home from the hospital. Same outfit Al wore home:)

Finally got my green slushie! Thanks Darb!

First bath. Not so happy about it:(
