this week...

Ok. So last week school started. It has been a major bummer for me because our schedules are totally mixed up. We haven't really been able to spend a whole lot of  time together. Taylor is busy with finals this week, so he has been up all hours of the night to study. I am so proud of him, but I am definitely happy that his semester is almost over, so hopefully things will be better. He has been busy with work and is doing really well with his compost. Check out his blog!

New bike pics again.

Taylor trying it out. His boss actually just gave him a new bike, but I have yet to get pictures. We are excited about the bike adventures the summer will bring.

The Burley Wray's stopped by on Easter Sunday. It was so fun to see them and catch up. We haven't seen them since the wedding. The girls are getting so big. We miss them so much!

So I am taking a digital imaging class this semester. I don't need it to graduate, but I have really been wanting to take it. We got a new DSLR camera for Christmas, so I am finally learning how to use it. Here are some recent pics I have taken, and no edits in photoshop! If you want to see more of my projects, check out my photo blog.

My hot man. (Funny thing about this picture... I told him to look very serious)

So here is a self taken, self portrait... don't judge me. It was for an assignment.

And here is the edited version. Taylor said, 'were you trying to go for the Marilyn Monroe look.' Of course I said yes.

Weekend hike and new bike!

This weekend we went for a little adventure hike in the lava rocks west of Shelley. There are some ice caves. Taylor hadn't been there since first grade, so I was a little nervous that we wouldn't find it, but he did! It was really cool. I have never seen anything like it. It was a beautiful day to be outside, except for the wind, and the fact that I put my hand in a cactus...but we did get a little sun and it was so nice to be outside.
This turned out to be kind of a weird stretchy picture, but it shows the ice-cave

Last weekend I bought a bike. I have been wanting one for a while. I really like it and have used it almost everyday since I got it. My Grandpa Alexander inspired me. He rides his bike about 30 miles a day for exercise. He is amazing and in has really good health. Now I'm just hoping that the wind will quiet down!

Random phone pics

Here are some pictures I found on Taylor's phone from the last few months. Enjoy!

Island Park, St. George, and much, much more....!

We have done a lot of fun stuff lately and have been really busy. We were on the road for a couple of weeks in a row and I told Taylor it was time to stay put for a while. We went to Island Park and stayed at Uncle Dwight's cabin with Barry and Sam Christensen and their little boy Warren. It was a fun get away weekend. We ate great food, stayed up late playing games and went snowmobiling. It was beautiful, but still so much snow, in some spots you could barely see the tops of the stop signs.

We also went to St. George a few weekends ago with my brother John and his wife Rachael. It was a blast to be in the nicer weather. We played outside, played games, stayed up late, watched a lot of movies, went mini-golfing, visited with my grandparents, and played with my cute nieces. Taylor and I decided to drive down to Vegas one day. It was such a treat for me! Taylor spoiled me and took me to the outlets. I got some killer deals, my favorite being a dress from Banana Republic.

Taylor's sister Paige is super talented. She is in the Bluegrass band at BYU-Idaho. They had a concert last week and it was fantastic. Go Paige!

We are planting a garden this year. The Wray's have been so generous and are letting us plant it in their yard. I am so excited. I love gardening and being outside. I can't wait to see how it turns out. Taylor has been selling compost so I think it's going to be awesome.

And finally, pictures of our apartment. It is a sweet pad!

As for us. We are happy. Taylor is busy with school and has recently started 2 jobs. Selling compost and doing landscaping. Next week I start my last semester at BYU-Idaho. My internship has offered to let me work through the summer, so I will continue working at Teton Radiology/ Medical Imaging Associates in their marketing and advertising.
