This last week has been crazy! Our plans have totally changed, its funny how things can happy so fast (and NO I'm not pregnant!) More to come on that later (when we actually figure out what we are doing). But, besides that we have had a great month. We went camping Labor Day weekend and also went to the fair with a bunch of friends. Camping was a blast. We went up last minute to Wolverine, some mountains about 45 min. from where we live. We took a tent, but on the way up we called one of Taylor's friends so see if we could use their property up there and they offered to let us stay in their camper. It was such a blessing because it ended up storming that night, raining and lighting/thunder. We definitely would not have lasted the night in a tent. So, we got up there and settled by dark. We brought frozen chinese food for our dinner and put it on the fire. It wasn't too bad...?? We just hung out by the fire. Favorite part of the trip: The baby was a little disoriented in the dark by the fire- I think it was because he could really see our faces. He dropped his binky a few times and so I would just pick it up and wiped the dirt off. Later, we took him into the camper to get ready for bed and when we shined the flashlight on him he had dirt literally all over his face. It was so cute and I couldn't help but laugh. I wish I had gotten a picture. Taylor and I watched a movie on our laptop and listened to the crazy storm. Alexander slept the whole night.
Hanging out waiting for breakfast.
The fire was rough to start because everything was so wet.
Love the morning dew.
How sweet is that baby?
We got up early and Taylor made breakfast burritos. He loves using his backpacking stove (even though we never have actually used it backpacking).
I love his little tongue always hanging out
Family pic. Thank you timer- I was too lazy to get out my remote.
These next few are from a lazy Sunday afternoon reading books with the baby. I love my two boys. Taylor is such a hands-on dad and I am so grateful that he is because he makes up for my lack of it!
Alexander's favorite book is his tractor book- it is a touch and feel.
We went to the Idaho State Fair on Labor Day with Adam, Andrea and Lincon. We met up with a couple other friends. It is always interesting at the fair- there are some strange people. Its kind of like taking all the people from peopleofwalmart.com and giving them some greasy food to eat on a very hot day. But, it is always fun and the food is pretty good. My favorite are the apple pie carmel apples. Here we are eating some food. I had a philly cheese steak.
He was such a champ until we lost his binky- and it was nap time...
Potato chip things
Vince and Jill ran a booth this year for school. Here is Paige running things and being cute as always.
Last weekend was Shelley Spud day. Here we are at the parade- Paige and the baby.
Andrew and Ashley came up from Burley. Here is Jill with her grandsons Paxton and Alexander.
Ashley was entertaining the baby with her necklace

The theme for this year
Taylors cousin Hunter played on the orchestra float. He is the one in the Indiana Jones hat. He is such a cute kid.
The baby and I- love the little dude. After the parade we send some people to get in line for the free baked potato and milk. They are donated by the local farmers and this year there were about 7,000 potatoes with all the fixings handed out. I went to Taylor's grandparents to wait for the food to arrive! I love spud day and all the fun traditions!
