Camp fire, asthma, first day of school and the zoo!

We went up to Eggett Park for FHE last monday night with Mike, Darby and Matt. We were going to do tin foil dinners, but decided it would be easier to take Little Cesars and make a campfire dessert! Darb and I whipped up orange cake boats. The babies had fun playing with sticks and rocks. (and their uncle Matt of course!)

Love this view of the Temple.

The boys fished a little in the river.

Al had kinda been coming down with a little cold and the next day he was having a really hard time breathing. Anyways, we will spare all of the details, but after a lot of drama with urgent care visits and Doctors offices, we found out that he has asthma. The first few days were really hard and we had to do his nebulizer treatments every 4 hours, but we got the hang of it and he did really well. His little nebulizer looks like "wheezy" the penguin from Toy Story 2 so he actually likes doing it and right now we just have to do an inhaler every night before he goes to bed. He is such a champ!

Taylor started school last Monday. We had to take the classic first day of school pictures! Al was sad to see him leave, but we are so proud of him for working so hard and wish him luck with Grad School.

I love my boys!

On Tuesday, we went to the Hogal Zoo. I hadn't been there in such a long time and they have really cleaned it up. We brought my double stroller so these two could ride together. Rachael has a season pass so we all got in free! It was a beautiful day, not too hot and a little rainy. We love the zoo! Al kept saying, "I ride that," to every animal. He is obsessed with horses and playing horsy with his Daddy.

Sitting in the eagles nests with the cousins.

I loved the seals! Al kept saying, 'Uh, oh, and oh, no!' So I think he thought they didn't like being under the water. They were so fun to watch and kept flipping all around.

Holding hands to see the fish.

Riding the tigers!

Riding the elephant

It was a great day at the zoo! Thanks Rachael!
