Mommy and Me

Alexander and I had our pictures taken by some of my good friends Andrea and Katelyn. We are taking turns taking pictures with our kids just hanging out at home as a gift to each other for Mothers Day. I went first since I am going out of town this week with my mom and sisters to London. I am so grateful to have such talented friends. These pictures mean so much to me and I want to do something like this with all of my babies. All moms should have pictures like this!

Zoo day!

We went to the Idaho Falls zoo yesterday for a little family outing. I love that little zoo. You can do the whole thing in under an hour, so its perfect for a little 1 year olds attention span. We decided to get a pass this year, so we will be going a lot. I took a lot of pictures, because I figured Taylor won't go with us very often.

We saw the penguins. They came right up to us and followed us as we walked.

Then we went to the petting zoo area. They donkeys wanted to eat his blanky.

You can go in with the goats to feed them and brush them. Al is pretty nervous around the cows, so we were interseted to see how he did with the goats. We were so excited that he loved them!

The lions were actually out and about, instead of just sleeping.

Our favorite is the monkeys. They are so crazy and friendly.

We had a fun afternoon doing errands and we grabbed some burgers for lunch. I caught these pictures later in the afternoon of the boys reading in Al's room.
