4th of July and Rock Creek Ranch

We went to UT for the 4th this year. First stop, the RSL game and firework show. The game was super fun and we were nervous to see how Al would handle the fireworks, but he was in awe. This picture was at the first when we was a little freaked out of the noise.
Thursday morning we drove up to the Rock Creek Ranch, where the Jensens, our good family friends have a ranch. I went there a lot growing up, but I haven't been in years. It was so fun to be up in the mountains and be with family and friends.

Getting dinner ready. Taylor and Luke were shucking corn, and Al was supervising. Ha ha he was obsessed with all of the 4-wheelers.

Jim and Mick setting up the picnic tables.

Dad cooked some amazing halibut. I think even Taylor kinda liked it:)

It started to rain a little that night and poured every night we were there after dark.

We watched 'Goonies' that night, Mom had never seen it, and she loved it:)

Dad making his famous omelets.

Happy babies! They loved being up there and got into everything.

Lilly loved picking the wildflowers and she let Al have a smell.

Papa with his grandbabies. Both of these babies love him!

Lots of beautiful wildlife.

The hummingbird are amazing up there. You can hear them everywhere and I love watching them.

Bonner and Lilly just hanging out

Anna was so excited to learn how to drive the 4 wheeler. That is the same one that I learned on! Jim said it is 28 years old.

Jim teaching Anna. She was nervous at first, but definitely got the hang of it and was super confident in the end.

The weather was so cool up there! It was so nice, especially since its been so hot here.

Stephen and Luke learned as well- they were in heaven

Family picture time!

It took me an embarrassingly long time to get on there....haha

The babies loved playing on the 4 wheelers

We went for a long ride on the 4 wheelers with Jim. He took us to a place he hadn't been for 50 years. Al and I rode in the ranger with Mom and Amy.

Lilly fell asleep on the 4 wheeler and was so dusty, the dust stuck to where we put sunscreen on her face, it was classic!

Al fell asleep in Moms arms, he was so tired.

Bonner caught a huge horse fly

On the way back, we saw a bear! I was so excited because I had never seen one up there before.

We also saw this beautiful buck.

Thanks to Jim and Klenelle for having us, even though they had to go home early. We had such a blast!
