Spring weather!

The weather has been amazing lately! We have ventured out to go on lots of walks with our friend Malea and Scarlett. We live really close to the Idaho Falls Temple and there is a beautiful trail that loops the temple and the Snake River. The whole loop is about 7 miles, but we just do the main 2 mile loop. I took the baby in the stroller one day, and I also tried him in the carrier. Anyways, it just felt good to be outside and get a little color to our cheeks. Alexander is getting chubby and starting to smile a lot. He is just a great baby and we are so happy to have him. Taylor is super busy with school and his new lawn business. He is doing great and I am so proud of him for working so hard. I forgot to post these pictures of the long walks we took and his new truck that he bought right before the baby was born. Its pretty sweet!

Six week old baby!

We can't believe the baby is six weeks old, although sometimes it feels as if we have had him in our little family forever. We don't know what we did without him. The other night when we were in bed I asked Taylor what his favorite part of the day was and he said it was when we snuggled in bed with the baby in the morning- it was my favorite part too. He is still in a bassinet near our bed. A little about Alexander: He is starting to coo a lot and loves kicking his legs. He loves his binky and sucking on his hands! He jumps a lot when Taylor makes loud noises, like a barking dog...ha ha. He is growing so fast and is getting super chunky. He doesn't have very much hair except for a little Alfalfa thing going on. He loves the bath and just sits completely still like he is enjoying a nice hot tub. This is really weird, but he is cutting a tooth already! The other day I saw a little white thing in his mouth and stuck my finger in there and sure enough it was a sharp little white thing. It is one of his canine's and it will be interesting to see how it goes, because he hasn't been fussy at all. I can't believe he is getting teeth already. We LOVE being parents and we LOVE Alexander. 

Alexander is 1 month old!

Here are some pictures I took of him today. I can't believe how big this boy is getting. This month has gone by so fast! It's hard to believe our baby is 1 month old. He is getting so big and putting on the pounds. I'm glad he is getting chunky. He is eating really well, and taking great naps. He still wakes up a couple of times during the night to eat, but I do not mind waking up to this cute little guy. Words cannot express how much I love being his mom. It's way better than I could have imagined and I am so happy. Taylor and I love being parents and are having so much fun.

Visit to Alpine!

It was a wonderful week in Alpine. We visited with a lot of friends and family. On Saturday my best friends Rach and Lindsay, with their husbands came down to Alpine. It was so fun to catch up with them and for them to meet Alexander.

My parents are almost done with their barn and they bought 3 more horses last week. They are now just putting the fence around the pasture, so when they finish that, they can bring the horses home. We went down to visit the horses in American Fork. My brother Bonner takes care of them.
