Bath time and Daddy time

Alexander is at such a fun age. He is so happy and loves to play. He is learning to sit up but is still a little wobbly- that would explain all the bumps and bruises on his little head. Yesterday he was taking a nap and I heard a blood curdling scream. I ran in his room and he had turned in the crib and his little leg was stuck in the slats of the crib. He had tried to wiggle it out, but in the process had only got stuck worse- it was all the way up to his chubby little thigh. I tried to wiggle it out but I couldn't and the poor little guy was just screaming. I ran and got some peanut butter and smeared it on all over to slide his leg out. It is bruised all over, but he is ok. I guess we need to get a crib bumper. Anyways, besides that he is happy as a lark. We are excited for our trip to Las Vegas and then to Lake Powell next week. Summer Time...Island Park Cabin

This weekend Mike, Darby, Lizzy and Matt came up to Island Park with us. The boys went fishing and us girls did what we do best... hang out, eat junk food, watch movies, paint our nails, and of course take care of the babies. It was way fun to just hang out. We also did a couple of little things around Island Park.

We went to Big Springs. It's the place where the first cabin in Island park was built and the temperature stays at 52 degrees all year. Because of this, trout stay here, and they get huge! Taylor and I went a couple of years ago during the winter and there were a lot more. We only saw a few this time.

We put the babies feet in the water, they didn't quite know what to do. Just trying to get them ready for Lake Powell!

This baby absolutely adores his Daddy. Taylor is so good with him and they love to play together.

Saturday we went swimming and then to dinner. Sunday morning we went to church in Island Park. It was so crowded there was like 5 overflow rooms and they have another building they broadcast to. We cleaned up the cabin and went to Mesa Falls on the way home. It was way fun to be with some of my Utah Family. Can't wait for LP in a few weeks!
